Swift Class
Swift Class is a class of eight Year 3, 4 and 5 children who experience a range of moderate and severe learning difficulties. All the children currently in Swift class additionally have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder. The children have a daily English and maths lesson and their curriculum incorporates the six areas of learning from the foundation stage curriculum. The children have regular access to all the opportunities offered with Booker Park, including swimming, soft play, music, are, the sensory dark room and theatre. the library and the ICT suite. The children benefit from regular input from the therapy team (speech and language, physiotherapy and occupational therapy) in accordance with their Education Health Care Plans.
